When you start talking to Kelly you realize quite quickly she is one busy lady.

Not only is Kelly the next incoming president of IABC Ottawa – a professional association that strives to be the voice of communications – she is also co-founder of Girl Geek Dinners Ottawa and the Ottawa Community Manager Meetup Group.

Heavily involved in Ottawa’s social media scene, Kelly is passionate about supporting the community in which she lives and works.

In her session Using Social Media for Research, Kelly will share how to effectively research the social web to understand how people interact with each other, organizations and brands.

You don’t need to be a scientist to figure this out…You simply need to know what tools and resources are available and how they can help you prepare a social media strategy that supports business outcomes.

Kelly will break down the key steps you need to take in order to build out a strategy that reflects an understanding of people’s thoughts, opinions and preferences and how to use this information to effectively connect with your target audience online.

If you’re interested in Kelly’s session, then be sure to register for the Social Capital Conference.
